The Farmingdale Freedom are entering their 23rd season. The Freedom were  formed in 2000 and have never looked back. The Freedom over the last 3 years have competed at the highest level. We have played at WAGS,Disney, and CASL just to name a few of the better tournaments. In 2009 we were ranked as high as #29 in the country and #2 in the State.

In June of 2010 the Freedom combined forces with the Lindenhurst Rockets who were State Cup Semi-Finalist in 2010. The new look Freedom will continue to play at  the highest level while showcasing their players. Team currently has a mixture of 2012 and 2013 graduates so will be looking to add current Sophomores and Juniors to the mix.

The team in Fall of 2010 sent 19 graduating seniors off to College. These 19 players were awarded over $900,000 in Athletic and academic scholarships. All of these players made their school teams and 11 started as Freshman.3 of these players were rookie of the year in their conference We have 4 players from current team, Class of 2011 who have committed. While several others have offers on table.

Once again in 2011 we sent 13 players off to play in the collegiate level. These players were once again rewarded handsomely for their classroom and on field efforts. Goalkeeper Michelle Conrad was named Rookie of the Year in the Capital Athletic Conference playing at Salisbury State. Melissa Frederick was named to the MAC All Rookie team and led the Iona Gaels in scoring in 2011.

We also had 2 former players make the Final Four this year a claim that no other team can make. Sydney Bond a 2009 graduate of Deer Park was crowned National Champion at  D2 St. Rose while also being named 3rd team All American. Alex Liese of Massapequa played in the D3 National Semi-Final for the Ithaca Bombers. Alex anchored one of the best defenses in the country.

Our 2012 class has eight players who have D1 and/or D2 commitments made.
